Lightyear 0, the world’s first production-ready solar car and a guaranteed classic of the future, recently made its UK debut at Goodwood Revival! The three-day vintage motoring festival had a modern mantra: to reduce, reuse and recycle.
Goodwood Revival ranks among the greatest global motoring meetups, celebrating auto heritage over three immersive, action-packed days. With a ‘make do and mend’ mentality, the annual festival champions a less disposable world, where longevity, sustainability, and quality reign supreme.
This year, amid revived treasures and entrancing automotive craftsmanship, attendees enjoyed a bright, cutting-edge twist. In Lightyear 0, visitors glimpsed a new generation of future classics, exploring the first statement car to trigger a solar electric movement.
Since its first iteration in 1998, the world-famous festival has been welcoming up to 150,000 automotive enthusiasts every year and remains the only sporting event of its kind to be staged entirely in a period theme.

Lightyear 0 at Goodwood Revival
With a matching ethos of reduction and reuse, Goodwood Revival felt like the perfect stage to debut Lightyear 0 in the UK. We, too, believe in building for longevity, creating vehicles that carefully consider the lifecycle of each component.
